Lands End, Morvah, St Ives, Gwithian, Porthtowan, Perranporth, Crantock, Bedruthan Steps, then back to Morgan Porth, Wadebridge, Tintagel

Still aiming for around ten miles per day

7th April 2018 to 24th April 2018
Tintagel to Severn Bridge
Tintagel, Dizzard, Kilkhampton, Bucks Cross, Bideford, Instow, Barnstaple, Brayford, Simonsbath, Wheddon Cross, Raleigh’s Cross, West Bagborough, Dunwear, Bridgwater, Cheddar, Easton in Gordano, Severn Bridge

Phase 3 
4th May 2018 to 20th May 2018
Severn Bridge to Rugeley Trent Valley Station
Trelleck, Coleford, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford, Hope-under Dinmore, Leominster, Ludlow, Culmington, Rushbury, Bourton Westwood, Telford, Shifnal, Penkridge, Cannock Chase, Rugeley

Phase 4
6th June 2018 to 24th June 2018
Rugeley Trent Valley Station to Hawes
Cross country and Pennine Way via Ashbourne (last booked accommodation), then open to ideas. Currently thinking Edale, Kinder Scout, Crowsden, Stanedge, (2 days to) Jack’s Bridge, (2 days to) Ponden, Thornton in Craven, Malham, (2 days to) Horton in Ribblesdale, (2 days to) Hawes. Open to suggestions of a better route from Ashbourne to Hawes over similar distance/time.

Phase 5
11th July 2018 to 26th July 2018
(provisionally follow Pennine Way but open to other suggestions)
Hawes to Kirk Yetholm
Hawes, Keld, Baldersdale, Middleton in Teesdale, Dufton, Greg’s Hut, Alston, Greenhead Twice Brewed, Hadrians Wall, Bellingham, Mountain Hut (2 days to?) Kirk Yetholm.

Phase 6
14th August 2018 to 3rd September 2018
Kirk Yetholm to Fort William
Kirk Yetholm to Edinburgh (route not yet firm) then
The Forth & Clyde and Union Canal towpaths and West Highland Way
Lochrin Basin to Fort William to include Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies, and hopefully a train diversion to see the Glenfinnan viaduct

Phase 7
21st September 2018 12th October 2018
Fort William to John O’Groats
Probably on the Great Glen Way and John O’Groats Way (can anyone tell me how close this LDP is to being completed please?) – also considering a slightly more northerly route to stay away from the A9, but I’m not interested in the watershed route or Munro bagging.
